Does anyone have an idea why oiling would stop on just the passenger side rockers? With the shafts off the heads, oil flows from the driver side oil hole, but not the passenger. This motor only has about 500 miles on a rebuild. Thanks, Bill

I'm not an expert, but it sounds suspiciously like the number 4 cam bearing has spun causing the oil passage feed holes to miss align. If so, that will not only stop the oil to the top end but the main bearing as well(unless it's a side oilier). the drivers side gets its oil from number two.
Hope this helps and good luck!
only 65 427's up are side oilers. i'd go with a cam bearing and the oiling system needs modified because the main bearings do not aline up with the oil holes in the block.this is ok for normal duty but if you are going to race it you need to correct the oiling system. who rebuilt the engine??? the fe and y-block must have the cam bearings installed correctly.do a little research on the engine
