Finding Headers For a Thunderbird...
Hello,
New to the site and lovin it! I own a 1966 Thunderbird with a Z code 390. I am currently re-building the motor, adding an RV cam, Edelbrock intake and want to throw on some headers. I have heard that these are really tough to come by. The only set I found that is vehicle/motor specific is a company called Ford Power Applications (FPA). I tried looking at the usual brands like Hooker/Headman... but they just list a generic 390 fitment. I have been told that many long tube sets will not fit a thunderbird.

well I decided to do another mod to gain max travel of bars past the intended travel points just for that peace of mind. 1/8 inch is to close so now I'll have 1/2" or better. I cut a 3/16" wall...
