I have a re builders tag on my engine and I am trying to track down a location where the company may be to see when and where this engine was rebuilt.

The tag is from National Engines & Parts Company (yes I goggled it).

Engine code # 8827

Engine stock # 70736 or 70/36

cly .040 over main .010 over rod .020 over

source # 918

Could be in Alabama or Georgia

Any help would be great but if no one knows anything about this tag that's OK, it was a shot in the dark.
