Looking for advice on a good fe engine rebuild manual. Can anyone help,I'm new to Ford? Thanks

"How to rebuild Big Block Ford Engines" by Steve Christ is pretty much the standard. It covers pretty much what you'd need to know and do. If you have a library near maybe check out some Chiltons or Haynes manuals. The original Ford repair manuals are also very good but somewhat obscure to find. There are a few new publications "in the works" I hear to be released in the future. But nothing new as of yet. Those and the many forums like this one are also a good source of info.

well I decided to do another mod to gain max travel of bars past the intended travel points just for that peace of mind. 1/8 inch is to close so now I'll have 1/2" or better. I cut a 3/16" wall...
