1965 352 rebuild
I've had this truck most of my life, even took my drivers test in it, first speeding ticket, first fender bender. I want this rebuild to be done right. Who are the best FORD FE rebuilders? I don't mind paying a little extra for shipping to get it done right. I already have the cam, intake, carb, headers (Edelbrock Performance). Just need someone I can trust to do the work. Also, what pistons and other parts should I be looking at?
Thanks in advance.

Keith Craft, Southern Automotive, Gessford Machine are all very good builders. I have no personal experience with them except with Mr Craft. I ordered my 427 block from him. Can't comment yet as it's due in this week. But I'm sure the machine work is top notch as expected. I've heard nothing but very good things about all three.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
