And the head casting numbers are between the center 2 spark plugs. The date code on the block is below the oil filter adapter. The date code on the heads are between the center 2 valvesprings under the valve cover. Look for a number/letter/number(s) sequence for date codes. The blocks casting number may or may not tell you what cid it is. Some block casting numbers are known to be generic. Gotta love those 3x2's. I have one on my 406. Welcome aboard!
