Which is better???
I have a stock cast iron 4bbl intake for my 390. I am building a new 390 for my 4x4 truck. Would it better to use an edelbrock aluminum intake manifold or the stock one??G.L.- "Happiness is... not being smart enough to know what to worry about."

If changing the intake manifold is the only engine "improvement" you plan to do don't waste the money. Improving the air flow on the intake side without changing any of the rest of the components in the flow "system" (an engine is basically an air pump) doesn't gain enough to warrant $ or time.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
