overbore
Is there any special parts required to overbore a 67 390 to the 427 dimensions and bolt in a 428 crank to acheive a 454.

The 360/390 block cannot handle a bore as big as the 427. The 427 is a different casting altogether to accomodate the larger bore. I have put a 428 rotating assy in a 360 and with a .030 overbore was like 416ci. (if I remember correctly)Dan Ouellette

I have already been looking at the stroker windsor mated to an AOD and I think it will be the way to go.

So we're still out here fighting with sniper issues, might be sending it back to summit soon. But at least it looks good?
