There is not a front-motor, rear-drive car out there that is factory original in which the motor is not tilted down at the rear. On any Ford, it's usually about 3 degrees. The factories do that to swing the transmission down to provide leg room in the front seat area.

If the setup you're looking at is a Ford unit, I can guarantee that the manifold is cut on a 3 degree angle so that the carbs will sit level on the motor.
? well then explain to me then if the carbs sit level on a intake like a medium riser, what about the 2x4 intakes that are flat?
