    Need advice on 429

Hello all, I am brand new to forums so please forgive me if I am posting wrong. I have read through many threads on this subject but am still somewhat confused.
I want to put a 429 and C6 in my 71 Mustang and need some engine advice.
I have a 72 429 out of a Thunderbird with the junk D2VE AA heads.
I have a bare set of DOVE-C heads I could use. I know they will physically swap, but the rebuild book I have says the resulting compression ratio would be 9.7, this seems a little high for pump gas.
What I would lik to know is:
    1. Is this a good swap to make ?
    2. Can I use the valves, springs, etc. from the 72 heads in the DOVE heads ?
    3. What should I use for rockers, push rods ?
    4. Camshaft recommendations ? (would like around 400-425 HP)
    5. Intake/Carb recommendations ?
    6. Should I use a stall converter in the C6 and how much ?
Thank you, any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the club, don't know the answers to your questions off the top of my head but some of the engine gurus will be along to help,
or look up Paul Kane in the membership rolls, he'll know for certain!
