460 serpentine belt
Can anyone tell me what was the first year that ford first started putting serpentine pulley/belt set ups on 460's? Does this st up make the water pump have to spin the other way than a belt set up?

I would imagine early 80s ,my 89 has one.The water pump rides on the back of the belt.Not sure which rotation that makes the pump............Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

If the pump is on the backside of the belt, it's a reverse rotation pump....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
