The Petronix unit works great on the old point type distributors.
As far as the clicking, how long have you had the car? Sometimes the lifters have a tendency to gum up and get sticky if the car sat for awhile or suffered through infrequent oil changes.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Right after I posted yesterday it was down again, I don't think it's getting better.
