Breaking down and cleaning a '49 8BA flathead and got down to 2 valve guides that were stuck like no tomorrow. Tried to smack a bar thru the lifter bore? to push the guide thru to no avail. Fu I cracked a piece of both the lifter bores. QUESTION is: can it be repaired, with a sleeve?
Anyway I already salvaged enough parts to have already gotten my money's worth.
