    Question Ignition questions - 47 merc

     



    Ok, I have questions. I'm new to the flathead world and am looking for options on ignition set ups. I know I want to got 12v but not sure which direction to take it. My motor has the front mount "crab style" distributor. i want it to be reliable driver.

    I know that MSD makes a new dist that would make it electronic
    I've read about an under the cap swap to part from a chevy dist.
    The Petrontix swap.

    I need opinions and suggestions.
