I see the Merc's owner from time to time. He's not in our club. I can ask him questions if you have specific ones. Those flames are really not Ghost Flames per se. They are more of a chameleon paint in that they are different colors based on the direction you are looking at them from. What I know about that method is it is a multi layer with one layer for each color used. The paint uses a prism effect so that they are directional. Maybe SprayTech or one of the other painters on the board can explain it better.

By the way that car is a driver, he has put a lot of miles on it. He has a few rock chips (worn proudly I might add) to prove it. That is the downside to that degree of custom paint. It is very difficult to touch up.
