Thanks Howard, I'll put you second on the list of potential drivers....wanna guess who's first??????
They were Super Mods around here, too. Last of the class before sprint cars moved in everywhere. This one is all sprint car other then the rectangular tube bottom rail...some of the tracks used this as a rule to keep the sprinters out of the race till the local guys moved up....
The car is probably a bit over-restored..... the fuel tank, kick bars, and bumpers are polishes stainless. Most everything else is as it was, right down to the McGurk front cover and drive. There are a few very unique pieces on the car, but it's as close to the way Dawley built it as possible....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
