We're just looking foward to some days off and a change of scenery! It's cold around here at night, not 25, but freezing non the less, daytime is actually pretty good around 65-70, and at least it stopped raining!. We still are entering another year as a drought! So I try not to complain when it rains, we need the moisture. If we split the state into two states, north and south, then water wouldn't be an issue, since alot of it is shipped souh to Southern Ca., but unfortunately our resevoirs or still at 75 % capacity, so Southern Ca. or not we need the rain!!" At their organized events, they usually get 75 or more cars. They always have a DJ playing '50s music, and having a trivia question contest during the evening. Lots of good food inside, and they draw a good crowd of enthusiasts.
I see Phoenix clubs show up sometimes. Last time it was a group of newer MoPars. The interesting thing is that it is a different show every time, with a noticeable change in the kinds of cars there. Muscle cars, "Rat"....er, "vintage" rods, typical street rods and T-buckets, street machines, restored cars, antiques, even sportscars or an occasional sand rail. The next one is a week from tonight.
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
