first of all what is a 350 bored a over. I had a freind come over to adjust mycarb. he adjusted set screws and both floats and now it runs worse . how do i adjust everything back right. I just cant get it set back right.
Have your friend come back & fix it?
It's been too many years since I've touched a Holley carb.
I'll take a stab @ it tho with my geezer memory and somebody else can come by later and give you the right info.
Remove the bowl level plug from the side of the bowl. Then while the car is running loosen the float level adjusting screw on the top of the bowl and adjust it so the fuel level is even with the bottom threads on the plug on the side of the bowl. Once that's done replace the plug and adjust the air adj. screws with a vac. gage to get Max vac.
As I said I haven't touched a Holley in about 35 years so don't try this until somebody confirms or flames my advise.

To answer your first question
"first of all what is a 350 bored a over"
You are probably referring to a 350 that has been bored to accept oversized pistons. Usually done to clean up worn cylinder bores.Last edited by pro70z28; 09-29-2004 at 06:41 PM.
