hei distributer
Have a problem with white hard stuff building up on the contacts of my dist.Anyone know what it could be ?And if so,how do you avoid it?

Is the build up causing any problems like a misfire? How quickly does it build up? Check for anything that might cause an ignition system to have to work harder like bad spark plug wires or excessive spark plug gap.

Hi,the white stuff built up in about 150 miles of driving???Got to the point that when you stepped on the gas the motor would crash.Changed the cap and rotor,now am wondering when it will do it again?
