I could be wrong but i tend to agree with ya pro,a cool can has the fuel line spiraled in it and the can is filled with ice so with the cooler between the tank and the carb the fuel is already at ambient temp comin outa the tank so i dont "think" runnin through a finned cooler would do anything at all.
