Where is the best place to find Holley carb rebuild kits?
Looking for a recommendation on where is the best place to buy a Holley rebuild kit....Online or parts store suggestions please.
I have a 4bbl on a Edb performer intake that has not been touched in 20 years(or more), and the last time I had it on the road was 6 years ago. I have not fired it up yet this year, as last fall when I had it out in the day light for a wash, the accelerator pump was leaking and dumping more fuel than I was comfortable with onto the intake.....burning fiberglass cars are not cool!!....
I think I should be pulling the carb off for a complete rebuild, as I am sure all the gaskets are dried out and I am sure it needs to be set up and tuned properly as it has not had much attention.

I just got one at Advance Auto Parts over the counter. But I am lucky enuff that they have at least 5 employees here that you can go in and ask for parts for a non specific small block and get the correct part.

whereever you go for a kit you will need the holley "list" number that is stamped on the front of the choke tower--if you have vacume seconaries probly a 3310, if mech sec then like a 4777, 4778----
differances in kits mainly is around mech/vac seconary and what size number power valves, accel pumps and type /size needle and seats(center or side hung floats)
You'll have lots of stuff left over, don't throw any away
Damn, that's something I didn't want to hear. I'm glad I got to meet him and Rosie and Rick. I'm proud to have had him as a friend, RIP Johnboy
