Welcome Axed from the homeland over the pond, Go the Allblacks,didn't we kick butt yesterday (31/07/10),ha ha.. Back to serious business now that we have had a laugh over the rugby.. I have a Qjet carby on and unknown brand of semi hirise manifold that was on my T Bucket and I agree they aren't a pretty thing to look at and I had mine covered with a deep dish chrome air cleaner but don't right it off yet as one can get them to perform very well.
I still have the set up sitting on the shelf in the garage after fitting my 3x2 manifold and carby on my 350 and don't intend to sell it as it will go onto the next car. Ther are some excellent books on those carbies..

welcome to club hotrod. you might want to not forget the tranny. at least change the fluid and filter. also check all the cables for wear at the tranny and in the engine.
