Gday mooneye. i pulled the motor out because engine paint was look beat up & its home is an steel model a coupe so in my eyes nothings to good & as far as removing engines from cars go, well its as easy as it gets...radiator & grille surround off-engine out.
Also im attending to & replacing all the bushes in the 4-bar front end aswell as numerous other things.
its a damn well built rod but its been on the road for near 15 years so now i have it its my time to attend to minor issues aswell as make the car my own.
I hear you on the q-jet...im not a fan...work well look like rubbish on an open engine car. ( coupe does not run bonnet)
im putting together a 3x2 manifold right now with a edelbrock inlet & 3 new UK produced stromberg 97s...not recod originals. on top of that im thinking of replacing the semi mild hot cam with something just over stock, i believe the 327 even with a stock cam will get up & go. ill add sum pix wen i make sum room in the shed.
