Zinc additive help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just found out I had a lifter that has been dished out due to excessive wear, I spoke to a couple guys and shops they indicated its due to lack of Zinc in the oils off the shelf. I have done some research and am having a hard time figureing which additive to use, Any suggestions. This is in a weekend driver nothing hot just a weekend hot rod, dont race it or hammer it, just a cruiser. Already dropped another fresh engine, just dont know what additive.

Hi Streetrod,
There are many oils that are available ready to pour into your engine that are formulated for high performance and include ZDDP. I stock & sell Brad Penn oil and Joe Gibbs that are made for flat tappets.....Mike Forte
