    Hi dominick
First of all, your carb is probably part number 3310 not 1310 but that really doesn’t matter. Do you have gas at the carb, in other words, when you actuate the accelerator, does gas squirt into the carb? If not, fix this problem. Secondly, do you have power to the distributor? Take a wire off of a spark plug and install any plug laying around and ground it to the block, then crank it over, do you see a spark at the electrode of the plug? If not, fix this problem.

When cranking the engine over, do it by wrench on the balancer nut and check it on the number one piston, when you feel the air forcing it’s way out, continue turning till the mark on the balancer is at TDC according to the mark on the timing chain cover or the chrome tab you installed. At this point you take notice of the rotor in the distributor and line it up with the number one wire. THEN, turn it another 1/4 inch counter clockwise so as to advance it.

Another method would be to set the balance mark at 12 degrees BTDC and then just line up with rotor with the number one wire on the cap.

Is clear NO? Me hope you ‘ave much luck wit dis!

Damn, dat Streets is robing off on me!

Ok, just turn the distributor counter clock wise about 1/4 inch, then try it, then if it is a little better, turn it another 1/4 inch counter clockwise
