Just installed a rebuilt stock 350 in my 89 crew cab. New everything, Alt, water pump,Distributor and Holley throttle body. Got it started and rpms are fluctuating from around 1500 down to a stall. The timing was at about 10 degrees ATDC when first checked, I adjusted it up to 0 BTDC(specs on air cleaner) and it's better, but still not right, the book calls for 4 deg BTDC. Has anyone done this setup before, and if so what was the best setting for timing?
