    edelbrock 1411 which vacumn

I have a edelbrock 1411 750 carb and cannot decide which vacumn to hook up on the to. It is a 1984 motor non smoged running no emission stuff at all. Just wondering if anybody knows what worked best for their vacumn, as for mileage, power, etc. Thanks.

    A GM engine?

    Connect it to full-time vacuum.

That's the small bib at the front of the carb on the drivers side.
The other bib is ported vacuum and sourcing your vacuum advance there almost always leads to overheating at idle and low speeds - especially during hot weather.

If you don't have a carb manual you can get one that pretty much covers it all.
Free at the Edelbrock website - http://www.Edelbrock.com

It downloads as an Adobe PDF.
Adobe reader is free as well.
If you don't have it, the site will prompt you to load it.
