    could i just wire the choke to a switch and turnm it on when im starting the truck cus there is no wiring in my treuck except for my Painless switchbox

    Any electric choke I've had required power to it full time, there's a heating element to pull the choke open and keep it there. Switching it separately from the ignition switch won't work.
