I would set your idle screw's with a vacuum gauge for the most vacuum.
Are you sure you don't have a vacuum leak somewhere?
If you have a flat spot try a different acc. cam position.
Is the spring to tight on the arm or to loose?
Holley sell's the "cam kit" with the different size and different shaped cams.
There is always the different "squirter" sizes also.
