Seeking Hotrod tuning shop in Austin Texas

I have an Austin Healey Kit car that my father built from the ground up. I typically do all work on it but my schedule is not allowing for it now. I am looking for a good Hotrod tuning shop that can rebuild my carburator and replace a rear main seal on a B&B 302 with a C4 transmission. Since I have always done my own work I do not know of any reputable shops I can take show quality car to get work done.

Thank for the help in advance.

Outside of letting your fingers do the walking thing in the yellow pages, my only suggestion is look perhaps for a listing of local sports car clubs and if available talk with a member who may be able to give you a couple of referrals. Another option is to visit a local "open" car show and inquire about reliable local shops with owners of sport cars. Unfortunately most of the rod shops I know of in Texas are not in or around Austin.

A second thought, Don Dalton, a member here, is from Austin. Perhaps if you emailed him he might be able to give you some help. Just a thought.
