350 problems
i recently just baught a 1988 350 throttle body that i converted into a pump gas but i cant keep it running ive put 3 different fuel pumps on the motor and none of them work i was just wondering if the crome shaft that touches the cam is to short because i got it out of an old 305 i had laying in my yard if anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated

is it a roller engine? if so it will not have any lobe on the cam to work the fuel pump. all v8 chevy take the same fuel pump push rod

time for an electric fuel pump

depending on the block casting number all 880 casting blocks never had the lobe on the cam to run the eccentric for the pump.
If its a 638 casting block roller cam as these came in both roller and flat tappet it may have it but may not .
Most of the ones ive seen do.
