    o k i m stumped..the car sat all winter ,obviously i forgot to put the stabilizer in. after draining the tank purging the lines cleaning the carb the car has areally ruff idle and as soon as you touch the gas , it dies .tis is anewer edelbrock 1405 .............

    Something is still gummed up. Sounds like the float needle is sticking in the seat, or some passages are plugged, take the carb off again and really go through it.
    Colud also be the pump valves are sticky.?
