    ultimate quench or ultimate compression?

Im about to buy heads for my motor and was woundering whether I should build it for ultimate quench which I believe to be about .040, correct me if im wrong. Or should I build it for compression? If I went with the quench My comp ratio would be about 9.5:1-9.7:1. If I built it for comp. I would have about 10.1:1 and a quench of about .050-.058. This is a 350 for the street that will be riddin hard. So what would you guys do?

If you can get to .040 quench and be at 9.5 or more c/r, go for it. That is good for the quench, and you will never feel the difference between 9.5 and 10/1. Plus, the slightly lower c/r can only help with the gas situation. John
