A GM HEI distributor is a self contained unit, the controls are internal and the coil is on top of the distributor. All it requires is a power supply from the "ON" connector of the ignition switch. Your old coil and ignition box that were used on the old motor can just be taken off and discarded.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
