Holley idle screw question
I rebuilt my Holley 1850, everything went good except the idle screws are now lose. The engine vibration now changes the settings. Did I forget something?

On my Barry Grant is a spring where the screw goes through.
Does the Holley work without a "counterspring"?Frank

......."Yes, they have a corklight o-ring that fits in the opening. You screw the needle in through that....."
Dennis is right, and the Holleys don't use a spring.

So the cork goes in the treads of the carb? I see the cork peices in the kit.
Thanks for all your help.

Got it, thanks
Any suggestions on how to install. It just doesn't look like it will fit in the screw hole, or does it work like a washer?

Nope, really got it. That "spline" area is really in there.
Thanks for all your help.
