Brake fliud is much the same chemical soup as antifreeze, and we all know what that does to rings and pistons. Don't do it!
If you have carbon in the throats of your Holley, its overdue for a full rebuild anyway. Are you sure its not oil from the crankcase breather? In which case its more than the carb that needs rebuilding.
Carbon can only get there from backfiring.
