Just finished a new 355 sbc using Scoggin Dickeys upgraded Vortec heads. I started out using Champion RS12YC plugs but they seem to be fouling out already. Have heard others complain about Champion plugs doing the same thing too quickly. Can anyone suggest a better plug number along with the gap for it?

just cross reference to an AC or I use Autolite double platinum...Ac's are I believe but don't hold me to this R44ts or R45ts
I hate Champion plugs, never had anything but bad luck with them. I like Autolite, and you can't go wrong with AC Delco unless you are in asian territory, then NGK. Another thing about the champion is a 12 is way too cool a plug for that SBC. You should be up in the 17 area if I'm not mistaken.

they run good in my kawasaki though;)
I use AC-Delco plugs in my SBC and the hold up pretty good.
