    Angry carb. problem???????

I have a 1970 chevy pickup with a 350 mild cam, intake, holley carb. etc. The problem i have is that it misses at about 2500 rpm. and backfires when slowing . never had this problem before. I have read some books and tried a few things and still not working . maybe some one could help!!!!

if that doesn't help and trying to tune the carb a lil doesn't help... pull the valve covers and check your rockers, if the slots have shiny spots on the ends, then your "mild" cam is lifting higher than allowed by the rocker arms... its a common problem with juicing up fords and a possible problem with chevy's as well.... if you have roller rockers... disregard what i said
