Oh, how sweet it is! I just sat the finished body back onto the chassis, after a 6 week thrash finishing the chassis off, and assembling fenders, etcetera for the last time untill it gets blown apart for paint. I am really impressed. This is the cab section that started life as a sedan, and has been chopped, shortened, whacked, and otherwise brutalized into a roadster pickup cab. The box is a completely homebuilt (except for the tailgate). The frame is an original model A, boxed and with new crossmembers, the engine is a 1985 Pontiac Bonneville, the rearend is an S10 with homebuilt 4-links, and the front end is a 4" dropped Super Bell I-beam, with Horton 4-links. The fenders and splash aprons are fiberglass from RamRod, in Trent River, Ontario. I just added up all the money spent to date, and including the purchase price, I have $10,974 invested.
