engine smoking
After I put a new 3 duece intake manifold and carbs on my 305, I noticed blue smoke coming from the right exhaust. Thinking the intake had been warped when I had it plated i figred the smoke was coming from the valley. Now I have blue smoke coming from both exhaust. Question # 1. Would a thicker intake gasket clear it up or do you think I will have to get it milled. or Question # 2. Would changing over from a 4 barrel 600cfm carb to a 3 duece 250 cfmrochester 2 barrel carbs make any difference as far as running to rich. Before I changed manifolds I never had any smoking problems.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
