i'll have to say yeppppp that sounds like a long time, but then a agin i had a buddy back in the early 80's buy a new ford p/u & he NEVER, i repeat NEVER changed the oil. all he did was change the oil filter & add oil when it was needed. and believe it or not when he got rid of the truck it had well over 150,000 on it....... cause oil never really breaks down in a motor it just become contaminated from the burning of fossil fuels.... look at cars or trucks ran on LP gas, you almost dont have to change thier oil but a few times in a 100,000 because they burn so damn clean......joe
I'm not saying to go 15000mi between oil changes or filter changes. But Amsoil is proven to last that long . Until I bought it I used to change my oil every 2000 - 2500 miles on all of my new cars . The manuals in todays cars say you can go from 6000 to 75000 miles between changes. Since I changed to Amsoil I go 6000mi between oil changes. I have friends that are licensed mechanics and they confirmed that the oil does last longer than Mobil 1 and other synthetic oils.

Look up Amsiol and check it ouf first .
Again , I don't work for the company or sell th eproduct , Just trying to help
