Cloyes timing chain
Anybody can answer this question,
I have a SBC that I took out of my camaro, It was a 11.00 sec motor that I have de-tuned for my pickup, I forgot the timing marks on this gear set.
Is it 12o'clock on the top gear and 12 on the bottom or 6 o'clock on the top and 12 on the bottom. Sounds stupid but I just want to be sure.
The way it sets up now is 12 on top and 12 on the bottom going by lifter position.
Thanks
Joe
p.s. sorry forgot the timing set is a cloyes true roller chain...Last edited by loozoo2; 08-14-2004 at 07:04 PM.

here's the latest, I had to cut up the cross section of the frame to get the parallel bars in place and these pic's show my fix . 3 x 6 tube used to rebuild the frame section. [/URL] after lots...
