1200 ppm is pretty much standard for older flat tappet engines or a new crate motor. 2000 is the max. too much can cause just as much damage.
i've built my last carb engine except for my falcon so it is not a big issue any more for me. the falcon will have a roller block so i'm covered there. oil is like tire brand everyone has their favorite .
both of the fleetlines will have ls motors in them .
