350 Chevy Crate Engine Valve Cover Gaskets
What is everyone using for valve cover gaskets? I was considering FelPro rubber gaskets. Do valve cover bolt spreaders make a difference?32 Three Window Coupe, 350 Chevy Crate engine, 700R4 tranny, 9" Ford. Build by East Coast Rod Shop. Flames by Custom By Bob.

I like something like these , but I'd rather they be Fel-Pro. https://www.ebay.com/itm/SBC-Steel-C...xWoVjb&vxp=mtr
The long hold downs are great for steel stamped valve covers but are not needed for aluminum. Getting the mating surfaces totally free of any grease or oil is a must. A well ventilated area, rubber gloves, an old rag and brake parts cleaner works great and leaves no residue.Ken Thomas
