    Air/fuel ratio Adjustment

     



    I have a carter 4 barrel and i was was curious on how to adjust the adjustment screws for the air fuel mixture.

    I would assume your talking about a quadrajet ... run both screws in all the way and back each out 1 and a half turns,
    Iv'e had some that you had to go 2 and a half turns to make idle right, any more tha that and ya need to check for vacume leaks ... remember in leans it & out richens it... and all this does is sets the idle mixture... any thing other than that will require jets/metering rods

    Dang Streets, I forgot all bout them AFB'S
    All I could visualize was a Quadrajunk.
    Dang CRS disease... Oh well I screwed up one other time also (LOL)
