    I really think that you ought to give consideration to 36 sedan's post #9 (or something similar, shopping for the best value), and then concentrate on adding to it as you can afford to do some upgrades, like heads, cam, intake & heads at the right time. Just a thought, something else to consider, but it might not work for you considering what you've already got in hand and especially with your budget of US$1400.
    Best of luck to you in your decisions and your build. The IROC will be a blast!

    Thanks, that could be an option, but sadly, by the time I got the thing here (Canada) it's likely to be well in excess of $2K. You're right though, all things considered, including exchange, taxes/duty, it may prove to be the best way to go.

    Luckily, I have some time to decide as I have a driver's side floor to replace and some frame patching, too
