I've recently purchased a 1981 chevy camaro. It has a 350 4-bolt main. I dont really know that much about engines. I was told the motor is bored out .60" with a 3/4" racing cam and a 283 crank. I know the exterior of the motor has a performer edelbrock intake and a 650cfm holley carb. The motor ran great when i first got it. the thing is only suppost to have 45 miles on it. it was built last year and only drove alittle bit. But not to long ago the motor seized up tighter than a bulls ass in fly season. I pulled the motor and trans in one piece. It has a automatic trans in it. The only number i could find on the trans was C-3. when i took the motor apart the cylinders dont look right. i was told they should be cross hatched. but there are just circles in there. it seems whoever had the motor just honed the shit out of it to fit the overisized pistons. there was alittle bit of ice in the oil pan. SO i know sometime or othere there was water in the motor. what i really want to know is how to build the motor so it makes the car a rocket on wheels. The last question that i have is what are twin peak heads. everyone that has looked at my engine has been flabergasted by seeing that it has these twin peak heads. I dont have a clue what there are. i know by looking at them there are two diamond shapes on the front of them. I need some technical information on how to build this motor. it is my first car and id like to make it a screaming machine.
