hi cam tall deck still ending up with a small bore .have i done one nope good wast of money when a 454 big block is were your trying to be at? still then were is heads$$ .no they do not use a bbc cam .but cam bearings but can go bigger to 55mm as they can take a better load were you end up with big valve springs . there were some sbc that used bbc head gaskets . heads . pistons . crank. cam. bore spacing was the same just a short deck bock much like a pro stock block . as close to this. i did work on a sbc in TX dragster when i was there
