Behind Pontiac 301?

Transmission question actually, I have a 78 Bonneville that I bought for $50. I got it last fall and haven't picked it up yet because of the snow. Its the 4 door car, and it has the 301. Wondering what transmission might be in there (200Metric, TH350, TH400)... Hoping to swap into my s10. I have adapter plates and all that... Thanks for any info

I know the 301 came with a 350 turbo, but it probably had other makes also.

I am actually in the process of rebuilding a 301. It's a firebird Esprit and I think it has a 350 turbo trans with a shift kit. I have never driven the car. But from what my parents tell me it seems pretty cool...
