Thank you for your service, it is very much appreciated. When you say "white fin" I think you may be referring to the spoiler across the trunk as shown in this picture? If you google "1969 hurst olds" you will come up with lots of links to other enthusiasts, including at least one club dedicated to your model. Here's one guy that seems to be a "clearing house" of information, and like Don advised, Year One should be a good source of parts and information, too.
